Trip Wire: “A hidden trigger that sets off a string of events that are explosive .” Man Is Emotionally Pulling Away
Deep within the heart of every guy is an intense longing to be somebody’s hero.
This longing has historical origins.
You see, the origin of the longing is written to the fabric of his DNA. And there it is located, dormant… till one day, the perfect trigger frees its own power.
I’d like to explain to you just how you can turn into that trigger, and the way to awaken the force your man’s bonding urge.
But first, a story. It is the narrative of human connection. Man Is Emotionally Pulling Away
Before we could care deeply about someone, we must understand something about their own life story. As stories evoke empathy. Stories enable us to picture ourselves in someone else’s shoes. Man Is Emotionally Pulling Away
Stories form the foundation of all human connection. They create the feeling of a shared lifestyle experience.
It is odd, but true, we can also find ourselves rooting for criminals and thieves so long as we all watch that their story unfold. Films like Ocean’s Eleven and The Italian Job exemplify this well.
From the movie, Ocean’s Eleven, celebrities George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon make to get a cast of likable thieves. But beyond their great looks, we have pulled into the story. We find what is driving Danny Ocean’s motivation to rob a casino. A casino that just happens to be possessed by his ex-wife’s new lover.
We could empathize with the pain of Danny Ocean. And by the movie’s end, we’re really rooting for him to get away with it. To steal the money and disappear into the sunset with his own ex-wife, Tess, by his side.
Perhaps stranger still is how we respond to fiction in the first place. A novelist could have me on the edge of my seat, rooting for someone who does not even exist in real life.
Literary critics may scoff, but I really liked the twilight show by Stephanie Meyer. I believe my hand was really trembling from adrenaline since the Volturi began to march across the area, intent on destroying Isabella’s daughter.
But wait, that is all make-believe. So how could it cause a physical response in my own body?
The answer, obviously, is the power of story.Man Is Emotionally Pulling Away

Stories affect our emotions. They are at the heart of communication. Letting us to feel connected to one another.
